  In the early morning light and a festive atmosphere marked by the sound of salutes, the groundbreaking ceremony for the GBOS Intelligent Equipment HQ was grandly held on the morning of May 9, 2024, in Hongmei, Dongguan. Attendees included the Mayor and Vice Mayor of Hongmei Town, members of the Water Township Party Working Committee, the Chief Engineer of the Management Committee, the Directors of the Comprehensive Office, Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, Natural Resources Bureau, and Urban Construction Bureau of the Water Township Management Committee, the Head of the Economic Development Promotion Center, the Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, the Directors of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau and the Economic Development Bureau, the Director of the Natural Resources Sub-Bureau, the Head of the Investment Promotion Center, the Director of the Planning Institute, and the Secretary of Xinzhang Village. Mr. Liu Wu, Chairman of GBOS and General Manager of Jiangxi Weichi Automation Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Liu Wen, General Manager of GBOS, along with customers and partner representatives, attended the ceremony, jointly witnessing another milestone in the development of GBOS.

 

01 Capacity Expansion and Upgrades: New Site Takes Flight

  Mr. Liu Wen, General Manager of GBOS, warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked the leaders, friends, and partners attending the groundbreaking ceremony in his opening speech. He provided a detailed introduction to the GBOS Intelligent Equipment HQ project.

  Mr. Liu stated that with the continuous growth in market demand and the rapid expansion of the company’s business, GBOS urgently needed a more modern and efficient headquarters to support its future development. The construction of the GBOS Intelligent Equipment HQ arose from this need. It will not only significantly boost GBOS’s production capacity but also serve as a crucial engine for driving the company’s globalization, standardization, scaling, and digitization strategies.

  “We aim to create a ‘low-carbon,’ ‘energy-saving,’ and ‘environmentally friendly’ digital modern factory here,” Mr. Liu said. “This site will embody innovative core concepts, relying on robust digital and intelligent support to build a high-end R&D and manufacturing base. We will provide advanced, efficient, and reliable products and solutions to our global customers, and we are committed to contributing to the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry.”

  Ms. Liu Qiaolian, Member of the Water Township Party Working Committee and Chief Engineer of the Management Committee, delivered a speech. She expressed that GBOS is a distinguished representative of Hongmei Town’s intelligent manufacturing equipment industry, and they have high hopes for its future development. The community will fully support the company’s growth, create a top-notch administrative service environment, and provide comprehensive support.

  Rapid development cannot be achieved without solid effort and accumulation. Let us all look forward to GBOS shining brightly and achieving great success in the fertile land of Hongmei, Dongguan.

 

02 Grand Groundbreaking, Majestic Launch

  With the sound of drums and the imposing appearance of the traditional lion dance, the atmosphere reached a crescendo. After the lion’s eyes were ceremonially dotted by the attending leaders, it performed a magnificent display that energized the crowd.

  At this auspicious moment, a new chapter begins. Mr. Liu Wu, Chairman of GBOS and General Manager of Jiangxi Weichi, along with distinguished guests, took the stage to officially commence the groundbreaking ceremony for the GBOS Intelligent Equipment HQ, wishing for the project’s smooth completion and successful operation.

  A towering tree grows from a tiny seedling; a skyscraper begins with a mound of earth. Following the speeches, leaders and guests moved to the groundbreaking area, each holding a golden shovel, turning the soil to lay the foundation, marking the commencement of the full-scale construction of the GBOS Intelligent Equipment HQ project.

  Riding the waves with the wind at our back, GBOS will strive hard, forge ahead with determination, and continuously innovate. By solidifying our core competencies, we will create an even more glorious chapter with unstoppable momentum.

 

03 Project Overview of the GBOS Intelligent Equipment HQ

  The GBOS Intelligent Equipment HQ project is located in the Digital Industry Zone of Hexi, Shuixiang, covering an area of 13,457.28 square meters with a total construction area of 42,572.34 square meters. The first phase of construction is expected to be completed in 2025, with gradual commencement of production. This project aims to create a low-cost, high-quality R&D and operation base for intelligent manufacturing equipment, focusing on providing smart manufacturing solutions for the global flexible materials sector. Once fully operational, the project will achieve an annual delivery of thousands of sets of intelligent equipment, serving industries such as footwear, apparel, lingerie, labels, automotive interiors and exteriors, 3C electronics, and upholstered furniture.
