(Venue of Bangladesh Leather Fair 2022)

Bangladesh, the pearl set in the heart of South Asia, with its unique resources and strategic geographical location, has quietly risen as a shining star in the field of leather and footwear industry. With the steady recovery of the global economy and the increasing diversification of consumer demand, Bangladesh’s leather and footwear industry is ushering in a golden period full of unlimited possibilities.

However, behind the rapid development of the industry, there are some pain points that need to be solved.

01 Existing production tools and processes do not meet business development:

Low production efficiency: Many companies still rely on traditional die-cutting machines for production, which not only requires opening different moulds for different cut pieces, but also has high mould opening and management fees, as well as taking up a large amount of space resources. This not only limits the improvement of production efficiency, but also increases the operating costs of enterprises.

Difficulty in controlling costs: In terms of labour costs, the need for multiple people to work on a single job and the lack of more efficient tools for leather layout have led to a high degree of reliance on senior experienced masters, which has further pushed up labour costs. In terms of raw material costs, the lack of precision and flexibility in traditional cutting methods has led to serious waste of leather, making it difficult to control costs.

Insufficient innovation: In the face of increasingly fierce market competition, many enterprises lack the ability to innovate in design and craftsmanship, as well as the ability to respond quickly to the market. This leads to serious product homogenisation, making it difficult to stand out in the market and limiting the long-term development of enterprises.

02 Digital Cutting Center, bringing you one-stop intelligent cutting and innovative process solutions:

To address the above pain points, we understand that innovation is the driving force for the development of the industry. Therefore, in the upcoming 2024 Dhaka International Leather & Footwear Technology & Trade Fair, we will bring you an unprecedented smart cutting feast with the theme of ‘Digital Cutting Center’.

Intelligent Cutting Technology: Using advanced intelligent cutting equipment and technology, we can achieve efficient and accurate cutting, reduce the use of moulds and waste, and improve production efficiency and quality.

Cost Optimisation: Reduce the waste of leather and lower the cost of raw materials through intelligent nesting and cutting solutions. At the same time, the introduction of intelligent cutting technology can also reduce labour dependency and lower labour costs.
